Effective April 20, 2015, the Social Security Administration has changed its rule regarding submission of evidence. Under the revision to 20 C.F.R. 404.1512 (a), the claimant must inform SSA about or submit all evidence known to the claimant that relates to whether or not the claimant is blind or disabled.
This duty is ongoing and requires the claimant to disclose any additional related evidence about which the claimant becomes aware.” The new rule requires submission of all evidence from any source in its entirety.
The Reeves Law Firm, P.A. will continue assisting its clients in informing and submitting records to the Social Security Administration.
However, effective May 1, 2015, the Reeves Law Firm will no longer purchase medical records on behalf of the claimant.
